William Fasceski, 60, of Honesdale, died Saturday, February 7, 2026 at home.
Born September 4, 1965 in Middlesex County, New Jersey, Bill was the son of the late Frank J. and Jean (Lupyak) Fasceski. He grew up in the town of Edison.
Bill began his career in the military by joining the U.S. Marine Corps after graduating high school. He later moved on to service in the National Guard. He proudly served with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 109th Infantry in Iraq at Al-Asad Airbase 2005-2006. During his active duty, Bill later worked at four armories located in Honesdale, New Milford, and Scranton.
Bill was a loving and dedicated father who enjoyed teaching his daughter, Autumn, about camping and enjoying the outdoors. He was an NCO dedicated to his job but was able to balance his work life with spending time with his daughter.
Bill had a life-long passion for the outdoors; he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. His other hobbies included astronomy, gardening, cooking, and baking. He loved his dog Hardy.
Bill is survived by a daughter, Autumn Fasceski and her husband Eitam Miron; a sister, Cindy Blair and her husband Mick; a niece, Abby Rafferty and her husband Brandon; a nephew, Jimmy Hynes; a great-nephew, Rocco Hynes; a cousin, John Fasceski; his former wife, Theresa Bednarek; his aunt, Yoneko Fasceski; many cousins, relatives, and "The Jake's Family."
Friends and family may visit on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 4-6 PM at Howell Family Funeral Home, Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.
The visitation will conclude with military honors at 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Bill's life will continue immediately afterward at Jake's Elk Lake Tavern, 25 Lizzys Lane, Waymart.
Burial will be private, at a later date, in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Mayfield.
