Trisha Marie Badenhop Ellis, 46, of Scranton, formerly of Honesdale, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, June 15, 2026 at home.

Born November 12, 1979, Trisha was the daughter of Thomas and Kathleen (Gillette) Badenhop of Honesdale.

Trisha graduated from Honesdale High School and later attended the Career Technology Center, where she earned a degree in Nursing. While in high school, and for many years following, Trisha worked at The Alpine Restaurant in Honesdale. She later became a Licensed Practical Nurse and dedicated her career to caring for others. Over the years, she worked at Pediatric Practices, Wayne Woodlands Manor, and most recently as the Resident Wellness Director at Willowbrook Place Assisted Living in Clarks Summit. Outside of her work, Trisha will be forever remembered for her joyful personality and lifelong love for music and animals. She will be deeply missed by her children, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Thomas and Kathleen Badenhop, Trisha is survived by her three sons, Dylan Langman and his partner, Ashlyn Maas, of Scranton, Gavin Langman, and Corbin Langman, of Honesdale; her two sisters, Melissa Damiano and her husband, Thomas Damiano, of Odessa, Florida, and Stephanie Badenhop and her partner, Alex Gryger, of Brooklyn, New York; her grandmothers, Mary Badenhop and Irene Gillette; her husband, Henry Ellis III; as well as many friends and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Kenneth Badenhop and Richard Gillette.

Funeral Services and Burial in The Waymart Cemetery at Canaan Corners will be private and held at the convenience of Trisha's family.
