Teresa A. Sverduk

Teresa A. Sverduk, 66, of South Canaan passed away on Thursday morning, October 26, 2023, after an illness.

Born July 14, 1957 in Sussex, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Vera (Krall) Lamberton. 

Teresa lived a simple and quiet life. She will be remembered especially as a loving mother and grandmother. She treasured the memories she made with her grandchildren; she will never be forgotten.

She is survived by two sons, Aaron Sverduk and his wife Allisa of Lake Ariel, and Ben Sverduk of Lake Ariel; her daughter, Allison Wilmarth and her husband Ryan of Aldenville; nine grandchildren: Olivia, Michael, and Jesse, Carainda, Aaron Jr., Abigail, Kathleen, Susanna, and Charlotte; her sister, Carol Sell and her husband Daniel of Prompton; brothers, Martin Lamberton and his wife Damaris of Lake Ariel, Philip Lamberton and his wife Sandy of Lake Ariel, Paul Lamberton and his wife Tracy of South Canaan, and Timothy Lamberton of South Canaan, a sister-in-law, Rosemary Lamberton of South Canaan, and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Lamberton, Jr., and a sister-in-law, Jennie Lamberton.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the East Canaan Cemetery, St. Tikhon's Road, South Canaan Township.  Everyone attending is asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Immediately following the graveside services, everyone is invited to a memorial luncheon and time of fellowship at Canaan Bible Chapel, 30 Hemlock Road, Lake Ariel, PA 18436.

Arrangements are entrusted to Howell Family Funeral Home, Inc., Edward. R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.
