Roger Lee

Roger K. Lee, 68, of Clinton Township, Waymart, formerly of Union Dale, died Saturday night, July 18, 2026 at home, after an extended illness. His wife of 37 years, Anita L. (Cobb) Lee survives him. They were married on December 3, 1988.

Born October 25, 1957 in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Paul and Helen (Spencer) Lee.

Roger was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School. He was a truck driver for more than 44 years; Roger worked for Lapera Oil until his retirement. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of the outdoors, and his meticulous care of his vehicles and equipment. Most of all, Roger loved his family and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife Anita, he is survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews, including Ella and Emmie who were very special to him.

He was also preceded in death by his sister and brothers: Dorothy Thorn, Ralph Lee, and Carlton "Joe" Lee.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at the Howell Family Funeral Home, Inc., Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.

Viewing will be on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:55 AM in the funeral home.

Interment will be on Thursday in the Union Dale Cemetery.
