Robert C. Fulkrod

Robert C. Fulkrod, 74, of Honesdale, died Thursday evening, July 9, 2026 at home, after an extended illness. His loving wife of 46 years is Cheryl (Gregory) Fulkrod.

Born May 11, 1952 in Lykens, PA, Dauphin County, he was the son of the late Carl M. Fulkrod and Dorothy M. (Sharp) Fulkrod.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army. For most of his life, he was a truck driver and worked in various aspects of construction. In the late 1970's, Bob's work brought him to Waymart. It was during this time that he met Cheryl, and in 1980, they were married. Bob lived a simple life and enjoyed being at home and spending time with his family. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife Cheryl, Bob is also survived by two sons: Michael Fulkrod and his companion Lacy Freiermuth of Tyler Hill, and Jason Fulkrod and his companion Jessica Gattus of Honesdale; a daughter, Jennifer Frankenstein and her husband David of Schuylkill Haven, PA; a sister, Diane Hammaker and her husband Tom of Millersburg, PA; and a brother, John Fulkrod and his wife Sue of Millersburg, PA; six grandchildren: Chaz, Kaylee, K-Linn, Jolene, Ceilidh, and Norrin; a great-granddaughter: Karissa; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sal Maiorana officiating at The Waymart Cemetery at Canaan Corners. Everyone attending is asked to go directly to the cemetery.
