Richard N. Wilson

Richard N. Wilson, 77, of Waymart, died Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, after a sudden illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Adrienne (White) Wilson. They were married April 19, 1975.

Born May 26, 1949 in Passaic, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Richard C. and Lucille G. (Brown) Wilson.

Richard was a proud United States Marine. He faithfully served from 1967 until his honorable discharge in 1973. For many years, Richard and Adrienne owned and operated a sporting goods store on Farview Mountain, Route 6, near Waymart.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Wilson.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public services.

Interment will be private, at a late date, in Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sparta, NJ.
