Born March 29, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Solomon and Hilda (Kurtz) Krasner.
He is survived by four children: Eric Krasner and his wife Roxana of Lumberton, Mississippi, Glen Krasner and his wife Gina of Baltimore, Ohio, Jeannie Boots and her husband Tim of Waymart, Pennsylvania, and Stacy Krasner and her husband Tim Dardinger of Columbus, Ohio; four grandsons: Andrew Krasner and his wife Brittany, Bradley Boots, Ethan Boots, and Daniel Boots; and three great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Krasner.
Rich worked hard for many years at Bendix Flight Systems Corporation in NJ, while he and Susan raised their family in Brooklyn. They then made the move to NE PA in 1982 and continued his time with Bendix. In 1994, Rich & Sue moved to Columbus, OH. That is where they lived until Sue's passing. At which time his children agreed to move him back to NE PA.
He was a kind man who would do anything for his family. He enjoyed reading, spending time outdoors enjoying the fresh air, and most of all enjoyed time with his family! He loved going through pictures and hearing about his children and grandchildren. He is going to be incredibly missed and the memories left behind will be treasured.
In accordance with his wishes, following cremation, there will be no public services.
Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Howell Family Funeral Home, Inc., Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.
