Rebekah L. Geuther

Rebekah L. Geuther, 79, of Clinton Township, Waymart, died peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday morning, March 22, 2026. Her husband of 45 years, Robert K. Geuther, preceded her in death on August 22, 2012.

Born April 16, 1946 in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. Mead and Doris V. (Wright) Mead.

Becky was a graduate of Waymart High School, Class of 1965. After marrying the love of her life on July 29, 1967 and starting their family, Bob and Becky settled and raised their children on the GEU-VEU family dairy farm which was established by the Geuther family in 1893. Becky was a member of the Aldenville Baptist Church. She was a hardworking farmer's wife who loved her family more than anything. Becky also worked for many years at Forest City Personal Care where she was a nurse's aide. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity; she was always thinking of others, lending a helping hand to those in need. She will be lovingly remembered by everyone who was blessed to know her.

She is survived by five children: Rachel L. Geuther, Bonnie K. Geuther, Dale R. Geuther, Andy B. Geuther, and Janet L. Curtis and her husband Ronald S. Curtis, all of Clinton Township; two grandchildren: Tyler C. Curtis and Jessica E. Curtis; a sister, Debbie Hiller and her husband Richard of Creamton; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Becky was also preceded in death by her niece who was also her godchild, Susan Quigley; a brother-in-law, Donald Eroh, and nephew-in-law, Kevin Weist.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the care and compassion they provided.

A Memorial Service will be held on Becky's 80th birthday, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Aldenville Baptist Church, 971 Creek Drive (Aldenville), Prompton, PA 18456 with Pastor William Mountain officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Becky's memory to Hospice of the Sacred Heart Memorial Fund, 30 E.D. Preate Dr. Ste 108, Moosic, PA 18507.

Interment will be in Clinton Center Cemetery.
