Paul A. Russell

Paul A. Russell, 83, of Waymart, died on Wednesday afternoon, February 4, 2026, at Wayne Woodlands Manor after an illness. He was a resident at Laurel Place for the past 22 years.

Born June 7, 1942, in Portland, Maine, he was the son of the late Perley and Theresa (Alfano) Russell.

Paul is survived by four children: Paul Russell of Florida, David Russell of Louisiana, Sherri Russell of Louisiana, and Mark Russell and his wife Jennifer of Peckville, PA; a sister, Helen Andrewsen of Arizona; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, John P. Russell; and sons, John Presti and Jim Presti.

There will be a Visitation for friends and family on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 3:00-6:00 PM at the Howell Family Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.
