Patricia Ann DeSalvo

Patricia A. DeSalvo, 73, of Lake Ariel, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Her loving husband, Peter P. DeSalvo, D.M.A. survives her.

Born May 1, 1953 in Astoria, New York, she was the daughter of Francis X. Finegan of New York, and the late Margaret P. (Powers) Finegan.

When she wasn't crocheting with abandon, Trish was showering her children and grandchildren with love. A life-long fan of ice hockey, she and her father loved the Islanders from inception to the end. She could call a game as well as, if not better than Butch, and they'd have been lucky to have her in the booth. She will live forever in our hearts and minds. Whenever the sound of Tommy Makem's voice passes our ears, the ref drops the puck, fall's first chill makes us reach for the chest of blankets to wrap ourselves in a yarn hug, or whenever a child is so overwhelmed with affection all they can do is giggle in delight, we will think of Poppy and be comforted by her enduring love.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services.
