Michelle Silk

Michelle Toni Silk, 71, of Carmel, New York fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2026 at her home.

Born in Detroit Michigan, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Kaven) Silk.  She was the loving sister of the late Eleana Silk who preceded her in death on October 21, 2025.

Michelle was a retired college professor. She taught at Mercy College, Sacred Heart University and the State University of New York.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Tikhon's Monastery Church, 175 St. Tikhon's Road, Waymart, PA.

Interment will follow in St. Tikhon's Cemetery.
