Fr. Kyril (Yefimov)

Fr Kyril (Yefimov) was born Konastantin Yefimov in Russia in 1946. He immigrated to America in the early 1990s from the former Soviet Union and found his way to St Tikhon's in 1997. He was tonsured a monastic to the small schema in 2003 by Metropolitan Herman.

He worked as a grounds keeper and with the monastery bees for many years. Over the years he had several occurrences of cancer and reposed at the age of 79 from a recurrence of kidney cancer.

His funeral will be held on Thursday March 5th at St Tikhon's Monastery at 11am.  Donations in memory of Fr Kyril can be made to St Tikhon's Monastery in lieu of flowers to help with funeral expenses.

May the Lord receive him into His kingdom and may his memory as a faithful monastic be eternal.
