Kelly Anne Hibbs

Kelly Anne Hibbs, 53, of Honesdale, passed away after an illness on Friday June 25, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Born April 2, 1968 in Flemington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert T and Janet H Rimlinger Hibbs. She was raised in Wayne County, attending school in Damascus, Preston, and Hancock until at age 14, she and her father moved to Bethlehem where she eventually raised her 2 sons. Her family raised, she returned to Wayne County where since 2014 she was a traveling caregiver working for Caregivers of America. In this capacity she formed many close relationships with the families for whom she provided care. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and anyone who knew Kelly, knew how much she loved her pets. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Kelly is survived by her son, Matthew T. Beam of Bethlehem; her sister, Janet Davis of Honesdale; and her brother Joe Davis and his wife Kathryn Box of Starlight. She is also survived by her maternal aunt Theresa Stiles of Paupack and many cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Todd James Beltz. The family would like to express their gratitude for the help provided to Kelly during her illness by the Wayne Memorial Hospital Home Health and Hospice staff and all the friends and neighbors who lent their support. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St Mary’s Cemetery, Fair Ave Honesdale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kelly’s memory to the Wayne County Library System or The Dessin Animal Shelter.
