Joseph McHugh

Joseph F. McHugh, 65, of Honesdale passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at home. Born October 18, 1958 in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of Claire Beach McHugh of North Carolina and the late Peter McHugh Sr.

Joseph had a love for music and had an unbelievable talent playing the guitar. He loved playing chess and making people laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, Joe is also survived by his daughter, Tara Janosik and her husband Dan of Blakely; step-daughter, Angela Mercado and her husband Jason of Gouldsboro; and step-son, Eric Head of Scranton; brothers and sisters: Trish McHugh, Johnny McHugh, Pamela Millen, Tommy McHugh, Peter McHugh, April O'Halloran, and Jean Morris. He was also loved by his cousins the Corbett family. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will he held at a later date.
