It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John C. Boguski Jr., who left this world on April 6, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on January 6, 1960, John was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend, whose love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

John is survived by his cherished son, Carl Boguski, and his beloved daughters, Amanda Allen and Anna Saul. He was a proud grandfather to Samantha, Jordan, Audrey, Keygon, Aricha, Madelyn, and Averey, who brought him immense joy. John is also survived by his father, John C. Boguski Sr., his brothers Dennis Boguski and Alan Boguski, Favorite sister-in-law, Colleen Boguski, his sister Beth Cortese, and his nephews, Trevor Boguski and Austin Boguski, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Barbara (Green) Boguski, and his brother, Scott Boguski Sr., John also mourned the loss of his nephews, Arich Boguski, Scott Boguski Jr., and Steven Boguski, whose memories he cherished deeply.

A proud veteran, John served in the United States Navy as a Corpsman First Class for ten years, dedicating his life to the service of others. His commitment to his country and his fellow servicemen and women was a testament to his character and compassion.

John had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. He loved fishing, often finding solace in the quiet of nature, where he could reflect and connect with the world around him. His interest in ancestry allowed him to explore his roots and share stories of family history, fostering a sense of connection among his loved ones. A true history buff, John delighted in learning and sharing knowledge about the past, igniting curiosity in those around him.

A man of many passions, John found joy in the great outdoors, often seen picking wild blueberries and mushrooms, relishing the beauty of nature. He had a special talent for baking, creating amazing birthday cakes that delighted his loved ones and made every celebration memorable. His cookies, made for the Waymart Deli, were a local favorite, bringing smiles to many faces.

John's warmth, humor, and unwavering support will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. As we remember John, let us celebrate the moments we shared and the impact he had on our lives.

A memorial service will be held to honor John's life and legacy, details of which will be shared with family and friends.
