Francis L. Booths

Francis L. Booths, 68, of Clifford Township, formerly of Waymart, died on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at home.

Born October 9, 1955 in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Frank M. and Victoria B. (Ursich) Booths.

Francis was raised on the family farm in Clinton Township where he lived most of his life. For several years he was a truck driver, and enjoyed exploring various parts of the country. Francis had a lifelong interest in the weather and enjoyed studying weather patterns in different geographic areas. Francis lived a simple life, and will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved home.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerard J. Booths.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 242 Carbondale Road, Waymart, with Rev. Joseph Sitko and Deacon Edward Kelly officiating. Everyone attending is asked to go directly to the church.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Forest City.
