Ethel E. Banuat

Ethel E. Banuat, 103, of Pleasant Mount, most recently a resident at Forest City Nursing Home, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, June 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Banuat on January 10, 1999. Born November 4, 1918 in Makinen, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Hilma E. (Kero) Aho. Ethel was a kind and caring, hardworking lady. She was an avid quilter and reader. Ethel was an excellent baker, and well known to make the best homemade bread. She loved her life on the farm and enjoyed gardening, picking wild strawberries, blueberries, and cutting and splitting firewood. She lived a long and beautiful life and will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by two daughters, Priscilla and Elaine; and a son, Gordon; five grandchildren: Howard, Jeanne, Mike, Lisa, and Louann; several great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. Ethel was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher. Following cremation, graveside services will be private in Wheeler Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Mount. Arrangements are entrusted to Edward R.
