Edna B. Felsman

Edna B. Felsman, 91, of Ocala, Florida passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on Friday morning, October 30, 2026. Her husband, Charles E. Felsman preceded her in death on July 11, 2000.

Born August 23, 1935 in England, she was the daughter of the late Lazarus Gatsky and Olive K. (Honeybun) Gatsky.

Edna was a strong, brave, caring, selfless, outgoing and generous person. She was a child during WWII in England. As a young lady, she emigrated to America with her husband, knowing no one else but him in a new country. While raising a young family in a new place, she went back to school and became a Registered Nurse. Edna was truly a role model for her children and grandchildren alike, and always lived life to its fullest. She was cherished, adored, and loved by all.

Edna is survived by her children: Derek Felsman and his wife Liz of Waymart, PA, and Elaine Fox of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren: Matthew Milhit and his wife Melissa, Melissa Marr, Derek Felsman and his wife Alexis, Michael Felsman and his wife Megan, and Ryan Felsman; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Samuel Fox.

In accordance with Edna's wishes, there will be no public services.

Edna will be laid to rest beside her husband at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
