Dakota C. Kronyak, 27, of Milanville died on Monday night, June 17, 2024 from injuries sustained in a tragic ATV accident in Damascus Township.
Born October 4, 1996 in Honesdale, he was the son of Charlotte A. Sinawa of Milanville and the late Gene E. Kronyak.
Dakota was a 2016 graduate of Honesdale High School. During his school years, he played baseball, basketball, and football. He went on to study at Virginia Tech where he earned an Associates Degree in welding. Dakota was a strong willed, loving, and devoted son, brother, nephew and uncle. He loved his nephews dearly; and in return, they adored and loved their "Uncle Kota." With his big heart, he loved the family dogs, Luna, George, Buddy, and Creed.
He enjoyed trout fishing with his brothers, and his late grandfather in years gone by. An avid outdoorsman, Dakota enjoyed taking his kayak on the river.
Dakota was an amazing son and tried hard to help his mother in any way that he could. He also loved his brothers and sisters with an unconditional love.
His Mom was so very proud of him, and always will be. Dakota will be dearly missed everyday and live forever in the hearts of his family. He is forever loved.
Dakota leaves behind his beloved mother, Charlotta Sinawa; his brothers, Indiana Kronyak, Montana Kronyak, Colorado Kronyak, and Justin Lagarenne; sisters, Misty Sampson and her husband Easton, and Aliza Mullen and her husband Keith; step-siblings: Kristina O'Neill, Ericka Ikeda, and Josh Kronyak; two aunts, Tina Sinawa and Grace Frisbie; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene E. Kronyak in 2010; grandfathers, George Sinawa and Charles A. Kronyak; and grandmothers, Faye Miller and Grace E. Kronyak
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in The Waymart Church, 596 Honesdale Road, Waymart, PA with Pastor Sal Maiorana officiating.
Viewing will be on Sunday from 1-2 PM at The Waymart Church.
Interment will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Dakota's family to help them at this difficult time.
